Endometriosis is the condition in which the lining of the womb grows on other organs outside of the uterus, frequently causing intolerable pain. In some cases it may lead to problems conceiving or infertility. However, there is relief for this condition as Dian Shepperson Mills illustrates in this book.

Endometriosis is a detailed, insightful look at a disease which affects approximately one in ten women worldwide. Drawing upon years of research, Dian Mills and Michael Vernon show how the right diet can provide the key to optimum health in overcoming endometriosis.

This book contains:

An explanation of how endometriosis affects the body and advice on how to cope with it.

An account of the key role played by nutritious and healthy food.

Information on foods that are harmful and foods with healing qualities.

Delicious recipes and practical menu suggestions.

This book is first piece of in-depth information on endometriosis I've found since my diagnosis in September. I'm more trusting of this book as its scientific evidence is referenced academically. I wouldn't waste your money on anything else, this is the text for me and probably you too. Despite that I'm often a bit skeptical about holistic treatments, this book has really opened my eyes for the better - highly recommend!

A must-have for anyone suffering from endometriosis. I was pain-free a month after starting the diet and got pregnant 4 months later. This book changed my life!

Interesting book. A relief to read if you are not just accepting the mainstream approach to this condition, which is to only treat symptoms. Made me look for the cause - often food allergies that cause inflammation. Visit a naturopath!

A comprehensive and articulate collection of must-know facts about endometriosis. A full description of the condition, symptoms, medical treatments, related conditions and alternative treatments - primarily through nutrition - combining traditional and up-to-the minute medical facts with both case studies and the author's own personal experience. The author is a reliable source of information, being actively involved in worldwide research, treatment and working alongside charities. A "bible" for anyone with, or that might have, endometriosis.

The book arrived before the estimated date for delivery. I read the book before, now I'm reading it again. It is a great book that includes the scientific information and testimonials of different women with endometriosis. It talks about diet and nutrition as a complementary approach. It is a great book to refer to your doctor, actually. I have applied some of the suggestions, they help a lot but I am still dueling with diet changes which make it more difficult to have better results. Anyways it is really difficult to change our diet overnight, but I already see great results.
